Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Oribrix Technologies Private Limited ("Oribrix", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information across the Oribrix customer mobile application, the Oribrix vendor web application, the Oribrix admin console and https://oribrix-materials-atlas.lovable.app (together, the "Platform"). It applies to Customers, Vendors and their authorized team members.

Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide directly
- Account details: Name, phone number, email, password/OTP verification.
- Business details: Buyer type, company name, GSTIN and registered business address.
- Delivery details: One or more Site addresses and a contact person per site.
- Team details: Names, roles and contact details of team members you add to your account.
- Vendor KYC documents: Business registration, GST/PAN and other documents required during manual KYC verification.
- Order details: Items requested, quotations, purchase orders, payment terms and any notes or attachments you submit, including for requests for quotation (RFQs) or manual quotations.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and usage information: App version, device type, IP address and crash logs.
- Location information: Where you enable it, to determine site serviceability and estimated delivery times.
2.3 Information from third parties
- Payment confirmation status from PhonePe. We do not receive or store your full card or UPI credentials.
- Delivery status and tracking events from Porter.
- Delivery/verification confirmations relevant to KYC, where applicable.

How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Process and fulfil Orders, RFQs and Purchase Orders.
- Generate GST-compliant invoices and statements.
- Coordinate delivery through Porter and process payments through PhonePe.
- Send order, dispatch and account notifications via SMS, email, WhatsApp, push and in-app messages.
- Operate the referral and promotions programs.
- Provide customer and vendor support.
- Detect and prevent fraud or misuse, and comply with legal and tax obligations.

Data storage & security
Your information is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with access restricted by role-based permissions. We apply industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit. No system is completely secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

Data retention
We retain account and transaction information for as long as your account is active and, after account closure, for the period required to meet legal, tax and dispute-resolution obligations. Vendor KYC documents are retained for the period required under applicable law.
The specific retention periods are awaiting legal confirmation. No fixed post-closure period has been finalized in this draft.

Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request erasure of your data, subject to our legal retention obligations.
- Withdraw consent for optional processing, including promotional communications.
- File a complaint with our Grievance/Data Protection Officer or the applicable data protection authority.

Children’s privacy
The Platform is intended for business use and is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

International data transfers
Whether personal information is stored or processed outside India, and the safeguards that would apply to any such transfers, remains under review. These details will be added after the hosting and processing arrangements have been confirmed.
